Unexpected IT fair

Friday. I was back at IT fair again.

Daniel accompanied me to be my laptop consultant.

I was damn excited la!

I saw my godbro, LIM YONG LONG!

It has been ages I see him!
At least I managed to see him before I fly off. =D

While we were still choosing the laptop Man Chun arrived.

So in the ended, I managed to buy my laptop.

Lenovo, Y330. A little heavy at 1.95kg but it is specs is pretty good that I am quite statisfied with the buy! =D

I bought webcam for mama and papa to see me too. =D

We waited for Shu hui to come over to get her stuffs at IT fair before we proceed to dinner at subway.

After IT fair I was really tired but Ricky cousin saw me tugging my laptop home ask me want to go for a movie.

It has been so long since we last met and chatted. Everyone has been so busy with their life recently. =(

We watched Watchmen and this movie made us have a thinking of what life really is.

Talking to him, makes me see life in another perspective.

Sometimes things is so simple and uncomplicated but we didn't realised it.

Work the hardest for what you want in life, anticipate the worst you will gain the highest satisfaction.

IT Fair

My officially 100 post.

I went to do delivery with brother again.

Alighted over at Paragon to head my way down to Doby Ghuat as Shu Hui needed to get her handphone back from the service centre.

Met Sylvia and her mum over at Sun Tec City and we headed down to the IT fair!

1st stop: Canon and I bought Digital Ixus 95 IS with Lina.

She was with her mum to get the camera and she went home already.

Free gifts include: sd 8gd, case, digital kit bag(include cleaning kit), sd card reader, screen proctector and tripod. And now I have 2 free tripod.

2nd stop: We were over at Nikon. Shu Hui bought her camera.

Free gifts include: umbrella, case, screen protector and tripod too (I think).

3rd stop: Sony.

Sylvia bought T77.

She has the most free gifts: free printer with a few piece of papers, carrying case, 16gb memory card, mini tripod, screen proctector and cleaning kit. Very heavy too.

4th stop: level 6, the girls bought web camera and ear phones for skype but I still deciding whether do I need to get them yet.

5th stop: Doby Ghuat Mrt Station.

We met up with Pei Fen and waited for Pei Ling to arrive before we headed down to China Town.

6th stop: At Zhuang Yuan, a korean restaurant that I can't remember the korean name. (juan won? =X)

We ordered Seafood soup, fried rice cake with noodles, fried rice cake with chicken and vegetables, fried rice cake with fish cake and rice.

The meals there comes with 5 appetizer that can be refill and it has a tea and korean biscuit for you to "end" your meal. =D

Great food and company today! =D

Tomorrow, IT Fair again. I'm getting my laptop this time!

Marina

I am a good little girl today.

I was dragged out of bed to do delivery with brother.

Did it twice today before I went to met Godpa for dinner.

He picked me up near my place, pick up Vanx from Yishun then Ancherle from Grand Copthrone.

We went to a boat over at Marina for dinner. Good food. =D

We had ribs, toasted turkey tortilla, baked potatoes with vegetables, spring roll, buffalo wings, brownie with ice cream and waffle ice cream.

We shared it alright. I'm not such a pig! =D

After that, we went to Marina Barrage for a walk. I never been there before but it looks damn nice.

Recommend for couples to go there. =)

There is the 7 storey chicken rice there (I know the famous chicken rice becuase I used to play badminton with Lina's family and we went there for dinner).

Lastly, we sang oldies all the way home!

Seriously, I love bond! Their bonus viva and victory track is damn nice!

JOHNSON!

I met up with JOHNSON today!
As matter of fact, it slipped off his mind and luckily I reminded him.

I met him after his physio at Cineleisure. I was late for more than half an hour. =X
He got so hungry that he went BK to get something to eat. Hahas.

We bought tickets to watch role models.
Had lunch at pepper lunch and ice cream there.
After that, we had cookies cheese cake over at bakerzin.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOHN in advance. =)
Birthday present? I'll make it special. Wait awhile eh. =)

We bought popcorn for the movie too. But seriously, please avoid buying it at level 6 because the salty ones has no taste at all. Argh.
The movie has loads of American jokes. Interesting movie.

After that, we past by Forever 21.
I have been eyeing on that cardigan for very long and finally bought it in a not so "legal" way. =X

We went to Borders to meet Shu Hui and Sylvia.
They were buying books and John finally found Eclipse.
I didn't know that he love reading it too.
I wanted to share the content of the last 2 books with him but i decided not to as finding out yourself by reading will be so much more fulfilling. =)
We finally took photos! I'm waiting for him to upload them!

And All of us headed back in train chatting away. =)

Thanks John, seriously I was moody and you lifted my mood.
It has been long since I ate so much.
Good mood comes with good appetite? Hahas.
It has been long since we met up and chat so much.
I laugh a lot too.

undeterminable

I played majiong over at brother's place on Friday.
I won the 1st game but lost the 2nd one. =(

Brother drove me home the next morning.
Met David at my house bus stop and proceed to Han's to do the art work.
I miss doing art. When I was doing, I felt tranquil.

He accompanied me to Ritz today.
Finally, I'm back at work.
But working today, I had mixed feeling.
Things changes pretty much there.Insuifficent staffs for banquet, most of them were out for HSBC outside catering.

I saw Adeline, Kai Chi, Thiri, Yumi, Alywine the managers, Su An and Sop Tip today.
I chatted with Thiri and Sop Tip.
We have similiar views, feelings and conclusions on many things. =)
Sop Tip is a very considerate person.
I told him that I am going to Florida, Orlando for attachment and he offered to give me his aunt's contacts so that I have someone to look for in case of emergency there.
So sweet of him.
And his aunt operates Sushi's restaurant so I can go there for Japanese food! =)

In life, everyone seem like everyone else but actually not anyone is someone else.
We are different and are treated differently.
Many people give me the "are you serious look" when they know about it.
But is it because you guys sterotype the person or is it really that way?
I hope I can get rid of it. It is doing no good at all.
Sometimes I feel so lost.
Who am I? What kind of person am I? Just negatives.

Marley & Me

I went to US embassy today and collected the visa.

Finally, all the documents are ready.

Met up with HC Yen Ru and Jasmine today to collect the visa but Jasmine was late so we went over to the embassy without her.

Met HB Sarah over at the embassy and went lunch together because I am hungry!
I'm like surviving on 1 single meal everyday. =(
Don't know why I just don't have the appetite.

Her company was great. =)
We watch Marley & Me today.

I was wondering why was this movie being recommended by many of my friends.
I know why now.
It is seriously damn touching.
I cried and smudged my mascara. Unglam. =X

The show reminds of Cat Cat, my british short haired cat that I had for eight years.
The memories we shared.
Like he loves cheesecake.
He will be there when I'm sad.
He will wait for my family to come home when we go out for dinner at the gate.
How lovable he is.
But he died. Chased by dogs and punctured his stomach.

In the movie, it says, who can makes you feel different, special and unique?
Marley is simple, he gave his love to his owner because they love him too.
If many things were just so simple. =)

knight in shining armour, where are you?

Last Sunday, I was at Northpoint getting some stuffs from Sylvia and met M for lunch.
This time, it was me staring at him eating instead of the other way round.
Well, I didn't mean to do that, but just don't feel like eating.

After meeting M, I headed down to AMKHub to get more things and went home.

I have to reach the dinner venue about 6pm.
By the time I reached Clarke Quay, it was still raining.
No cab to be found, searching everywhere.
I even walked the wrong direction. =X

Thanks for picking me up, if not I think it will take me pretty long to get there.

Feel awkward there. Slightly lonely. But it is a wedding.
You don't expect to know everyone because you are one of the guests too.

The bride and groom are really loving.
Looking at their pictures, videos and behaviours really set me envious.
One day, I'll find my knight in shining armour.
He will give me all his love, faithfulness, honesty and trust?

Seriously, I need to go dating.
If not when can I meet my Mr Right? =X

When you are struggling in the water, you thought of life buoy.
Once it aids you to the land, you just dump it aside.
