1st post from states

Okay. The previous post are posted in Washington!
So people, I'm officially in States.
Stay at a different hotel today.
Been touring the whole day in DC.
Been to the white house, the air and space museum, the art museum, the american history museum and the natural history museum!

The weather is pretty drastic. It is like 9-11 degrees in the morning and night while 5-10 degree higher during the noon.
The food? It is horrible. Both chinese and western is bad. =(
Too sweet or too salty. =(

It is 1.50am and I have to get to bed now! Waking up at 7.30am for the tour again!

Enjoyed myself!

Hahas..I went for movie with nsf on Thursday. We watched the confession of shopaholic.
We bought so much snacks into the cinema! Damn hungry!

After that we rushed over to Clarke Quay to meet Peiling, Elf (Pei Ling's friend) and Pei Fen; and head down to double O.

Nsf just went ahead and order 5 jer ge boom (not sure how it is spelt, the red bull drink eh.)
So I was forced to drink. =X After that, he went to order another 2 jugs of vodka. =S
I have been clubbing quite awhile but I club a different way that day. =) Sometimes different is fun? hahas.. I had so much fun satisfying my crave. =X
My company has things early in the morning on friday and the agreed to club with me till 3am! =D

Friday.
I went back to henderson in the morning with nsf to pick up my fujitsu laptop from service!
Erm.. he missed his run because we club till too late. Sorry. =X
After that we head down to harbour front to attend the canon camera workshop with lina.
While he slack at coffee house read the book. =X

I shopped at vivo. A lot. =X
Bought my shoes and other necessity hahas.

Den we head down to Chomp Chomp for dinner! We ordered too much. Or more like he order too much that we couldn't finish! =X.

I met Peiling and Pei Fen again. Head down my house and help me with the luggage packing. =X
Yeah. Last minute packing.
Then, sister drove us to brother's place for majiong session!
And nsf came along too.
I cracked his itouch. =X
And he lost money playing majiong. GUILT.

After majiong session, sister drove all of us plus kar yee cousin to the airport.
Daniel, Serene, VK, Fabian, David, Aldrin came to send me off at the airport too!
Serene and VK has to force themselves from the bed to come and gave me a sweet photo album!
Daniel tried to surpise me and drove to the airport.
Fabian was drunk but came.
David, got Aldrin to drive him over and he gave me a scarf.
It is so so handy!
Peiling gave me sunflower and photo!
While nsf gave me a book (yakuza) and a farewell card!

Thanks for everyone making and effort for coming down to send me off! =D

I have been meeting people during the last week before I fly.

Initially, I wanted to stay at home, spend time with my family, do the packing and cleaning of the room. But it doesn't seem like it is going along as planned. =X

I met David yesterday. He accompanied me to do some errands and last minute shopping in town. Elanie came over and met him afterwards. =) Happy Birthday!

I was supposed to go eat beancurd over at Jalan Kayu but it was a last minute call so I'm having it on Thursday. =S

Today is a tiring day. I woke up early, brought the new laptop to school to install the programmes. I dislike eating in school due to the lack of variety but I had prata with M, he met me in school. He complained that I am leaving and he wants to meet up again before I go. So here I am! =)

Esther, Sylvia and Shu Hui. The pictures are for you guys. I know you girls will miss the pratas. Any Milo there?=X .There are egg, cheese, mushroom and bomb. We shall eat together again when you guys back alright? Or more like when I'm back.=) Hope you guys manage to find Chinatown there for Asian food.

We headed down to Henderson to get my old laptop fixed.

Why did I go Henderson instead of Funan? Well, I went Funan yesterday, but it will take a few days longer to get it fixed. Locating the service centre was a horror. No clear information from the fujitsu customer service nor signs around the area to identify the right direction.

From there, we took 167 home. I was really tired and I keep nagging that I am tired to him. =X

But, as the bus drove I enjoy the sights. There are familiar, interesting and odd places.

SG isn't that boring actually. =)

Once I'm home, I'm really tired. I chatted online for awhile and fallen asleep.

I woke up about 7pm as I'm Amos for coffee at Thomson Plaza Starbucks.

It has been so long I last see him.

Seated at the smoking corner. Sial la, I have so many smoker friends. His intake at starbucks today like 6,7 sticks.

We chatted till Starbucks closes and we cabbed home, like 12 am? Hahas.

Talking to him made me realised and learnt a lot of things. About the studying and working environment of the hospitality industry. His signature act blur, I know what you are upto and I know what you mean smile and talking to him definitely makes me laugh like mad.

I miss John too. Hope to see him soon when I'm back. ; )

Meeting Cherlyn tommorrow over at Yishun, going back to Northland to know the surprise Godpa have for me.

Plus, movie with nsf. We can go eat the beancurd too. =)

Seafood!

I met Godpa and Rochester for dinner.
We had dinner over at Owen Seafood Restaurant. =D
It has been like a year since I last met Roach. The last time was he was doing relief teaching over at northland.
And he thought I am going to states for good and not coming back. Hahas.. No worries, you will see me in like 6months time with your present back!

Sometimes you can be so unreasonable. What do you expect me to say? You are constantly doubting, blaming, making your own assumptions and scolding without questioning the real situation.

The race to the witch mountain.

I had movie with nsf.

We were deciding which movie to watch and "The Confessions Of The Shopaholic".

He booked the tickets for it but we ended up looking at the wrong date. =X

It is only showing on the 25th March and today is only 23rd March.

Luckily, we managed to swap the tickets to the "The Race To The Witch Mountain". =D

The movie is surprisingly pretty good.

Some of the filmed angles are pretty confusing especially when the taxi was chased by others.

But the script was pretty well written!

They are able to inject humor and funny scarcasm in the least expected ways.

Nsf, please be grateful of some ghostly figure to bring you an extra specs to watch the movie!

EA girls outing! =)

I met Desmond on Thursday and we had dinner together and did some catch up. =)

I met my secondary school classmates on Friday!

Stephanie, Shanmin, Curina, Kellyn and Sharon.

1st stop: Newton Circus for dinner.

We had like sting ray, satay, oyster omelette, kai lan, baby octopus and sugar cane drink! =D

2nd stop: United Square for Ben & Jerry's ice cream!

3rd stop: Thomson Plaza's Starbucks to chill.

It has been great going out with them. So much catching up to do, so much relieve of secondary reminiscence!

I met him today. There is a lot of things to get off my chest.

I asked a lot of things and I gotten my answers.

We chatted about our lives and future plans too. It has been awhile since we talk or see each other.

I just want to get everything off my chest to be happier. Nothing else.

At least, finally. Things are ended in a better note.

We met at the wrong time? Or the wrong person?

It doesn't matter. We are friends now. =)

I met Johnson again. =D

John never fail to cheer me up just by behaving his usual self.

He was late! But it is okay because I was later the other time we met. =X

We had fried mars bar while deciding where to have our dinner.

We decided to dine at Sushi Tei, Paragon since both of us want to drink soup!

We had like scallops, soup, katsu don rice double dessert of black sesame ice cream and chocolate waffled ice cream.

This is the 2nd time we dined there. The 2nd time we are so damn full and left Sushi Tei only when they are closing. =X

After dinner, I saw the playground outside Sushi Tei and I can't help myself and ask him to take pictures together there. It is like childhood memories where we will hang out over at the playground. Hahas.

Hahas.. I just can't stop chatting with him so he accompanied me to take the bus home from Somerset.

He was staring at the bus suddenly while we were sitting at the railing. I thought there was some babe in there so I asked him what is he staring and he replied;

J: " I was looking at the reflection of the bus arrival timing ( the bus arrival board was inline with us so we couldn't see the bus arrival timing at all) on the bus."

K: "Wa, so smart ah?!"

J: "Of course la, I am handsome Johnson!"

K: "Hahas.. Right, so what time is 167 arriving?"

J:" Erm. I didn't manage to see. " =X

K:" Wahahas.. You pose so nice I thought that you manage to see it la."

J: *Pai seh look on his face.* =D

He alighted the bus and sent me home by walking with me to my estate today.

First time, a guy friend send me home all the way till my estate sial.
He said it was too late for a girl to walk home to some ulu pandan home and he says it is okay if there is people who wants to rape him as long as that rapist is a lady! =X

I'll be seeing him on Saturday and Sunday and he is playing hard for me. =)

It has been so long since I last supported his matches in secondary school. Our friendship started since secondary 1 till now. I am glad that we are able to maintain it. =) This time round, it will be me going oversea and buying you back gift + birthday persent!

I am really thankful of all those friends that I have.To those who stand by me when I am lost, in the lurch, being a fool, in need and not leaving me behind. But walking, guiding me next to them, You don't need so many friends, you just need those real friends. =)

Neighbours' outing

I was skype conferencing with Serene and Simon before heading out.

That was fun and people are practising for me when I am away in States? Hahas.

Lina, Pen (Sue Ping) and I met out yesterday.Pen is having her attachment at the moment and we met for dinner. We had dinner over at Pasta Mania, dessert at Mac and Pen had fruits over at food court.

It has been so long since we last met can.

And as usual, she is one blur sotong that can be easily tricked.

Hahas. Does all borned in 1990 and study in Chong Fu are like this, Shu Hui? =D

Reached home about 7.20am on Sunday morning.
I'm so tired. =X
I slept till 3pm and went over to have dinner with brother, sister-in law and sister.
Played majiong till 1.30am and chatted on the phone till 5.30am.

Chatting with you made me realised many things.
And really, I was surprised about what has happened.
I thought he might change.
It was dumb of me thinking that way.
Thought I was really lousy.
Seriously, he is more into himself than anyone else.
He rather hurt others than having himself tarnish.
Believing and trusting him in the first place was a mistake.
For that bitch. I don't understand the thrill out of it.
I don't regret.
Because from this, I learnt.
Never be a fool again. Not again.
Thanks for waking me up again.

Woke up early on Monday at 10.30am, to be daddy's little girl and help out with the delivery.
It was raining today and I was like drenched so many times getting in and out of the van. =(
After I reached home I was out meeting Jia to help him with his selection of school for his studies.
We met at Great World City, dinned at Kenny Rogers.
We proceed to ERC Institute and listened to what the counsellor adviced.
Their progress like getting a Master(when you already acquire a diploma of the similar course) in 2 years sound tempting to pick up but I still have some doubts about the schools. =X
After that, we cabbed home as I am really really tired from deprivation of sleep.

It has been ages since I saw them.

Fabian, Leonard, Leon, Wei Quan, Jie Wen, Yun Tong, Sheralyn, Lih Wee, Tian Yew, Bing Ting, Marcus, Azmil, Vincent Kang, Serene and Square! =)

Breakfast over at mac and proceed down Siloso Beach.

We played volleyball, frisbee, soccer and captain ball.

Seriously, playing against the NSF men is a tough job. =X

They are so quick, fast and fit. =(

Bathed and went to makan over at the harbour front hawker center.

I shared carrot cake, char kuey tiao, orh jian and fish soup with Vk and Serene.

Then, we proceed down Ritz Carlton loading bay to catch up with some of the staffs there.

Dinner is over at the Marina Square food court, having laska, ice kacang and steal desserts from others. =D

We went to Clarke Quay, Mama Carribean Pub with the rest.

This is the first time I watch soccer match with my friends.

Sisi and Hui Xin joined us too.

Manutd vs Liverpool. 1-4.

I supported Manutd but they lost. =(

But Torres is really cute. =X

I rushed over to city hall to meet Pei Fen and proceed down to Changi Airport.

We were there like 12am while the girls' (Sylvia, Shu Hui and Esther) flight is at 6am. =(

We tour around the 3 terminals of the airport plus the slack at starbucks, sipping my vanila latte. =)

PeiLing is so sweet, she bought roses and a picture of us for the 3 of them.

ShuHui is as usual. Still being a blur sotong and Sylvia is like wants to enter the gantry soon as always, as she wants to buy duty free product. And Esther is busy taking photos with her friends. =)

Unexpected IT fair

Friday. I was back at IT fair again.

Daniel accompanied me to be my laptop consultant.

I was damn excited la!

I saw my godbro, LIM YONG LONG!

It has been ages I see him!
At least I managed to see him before I fly off. =D

While we were still choosing the laptop Man Chun arrived.

So in the ended, I managed to buy my laptop.

Lenovo, Y330. A little heavy at 1.95kg but it is specs is pretty good that I am quite statisfied with the buy! =D

I bought webcam for mama and papa to see me too. =D

We waited for Shu hui to come over to get her stuffs at IT fair before we proceed to dinner at subway.

After IT fair I was really tired but Ricky cousin saw me tugging my laptop home ask me want to go for a movie.

It has been so long since we last met and chatted. Everyone has been so busy with their life recently. =(

We watched Watchmen and this movie made us have a thinking of what life really is.

Talking to him, makes me see life in another perspective.

Sometimes things is so simple and uncomplicated but we didn't realised it.

Work the hardest for what you want in life, anticipate the worst you will gain the highest satisfaction.
